Every year the Elected Mayor
forms a Cabinet. The Cabinet comprises of the Elected Mayor and up
to 9 councillors selected by the Elected Mayor, each with a
specific portfolio to oversee. The Cabinet responsible for
carrying out most of the local authority’s functions and
provides executive leadership to the Council
